| Biography |

Guppies are an ultra noise pop rock band from Southern California (Los Angeles & Orange Counties). Guppies formed initially as an audience-baiting comedy-punk duo before GETTING SERIOUS and starting to make real music. We try to do something different each time we go out - sometimes our recordings are quick and cheap, others we've taken two years on. We usually play pretty loud. Our influences included My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, Pavement, Guided by Voices, Yo La Tengo, mid-period Flaming Lips, The Beatles, that kind of thing.
